Khadjiah Johnson is a multi-disciplinary writer and performer from New York City. She’s the founder and host of the genre-bending indie food column, Scotch Bonnet, and is a contributing writer for Food Network and Black Nerd Problems. She’s performed for audiences over 15K on internationally known stages like Madison Square Garden, Allstate Arena, Apollo Theater, Lincoln Center, and many more. Khadjiah’s work has appeared in Vulture, Epicurious, Crunchyroll, The Best American Food Writing 2023, The Offing, Emmy-award-winning Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO), and more. When she’s not writing or performing, you can catch Khadjiah cooking and playing video games or, on a bad day, shaking her fist at under-seasoned chicken.
